Do Veggies Really Give You Protein?
You know you need protein. You know you should be eating more plants. But can plants – specifically vegetables – help you meet your better protein needs? To answer this question better, we need to understand that “protein” is a term for what the body creates from groups of amino acids. To meet your daily protein needs, your body must get in a variety of amino acids.
